Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I'm 62 years old on SS disability,a year ago I relocated myself from Florida to California, ,3 months after I left Florida my former G/F accused me of domestic violance and other misc accuses, the Police issued a misdemenor arrest warrant without Bond on me even tho I didn't have any priors and no proof or evidance existed. I returned to Florida to contest the charges,I spent 1 night in Jail and bail was set @$10000 and I hire an attorney $ 5000, the day of jury selection the prosecutor dropped all charges, The entire affair cost me over $10,000 between travel, attorney fee, lost of bail money, plus emotional distress as while waiting for this matter to be resolved I end up back in the hospital with my 2nd heart attack and a minor stroke. My question is do I have a chance to recover some damage from my former G/F in civil court? how about recovering from the Police who filed the arrest warrant on DV charges without probable cause ( it is interesting to note that the partner of the policeman who file the arrest report is now my ex G/F new lover.

Impossible on these facts alone to answer your questions. You may have some claims and you would need to consult with an attorney in detail to determine against whom.
