I have been accused of doing something which is slandering my name how do i hand
I have been accused of prostitution by I believe a truck stop owner. I am dating a trucker but have never done anything like what I have been accused of. How can I stop their alligations?

If he commits slander he can be sued. You may want an attorney to write to him.

I would send a firm but polite letter advising the owner that his/her accusations are slanderous and could render him/her liable for damages if he/she did not immediately cease and desist. If he/she fails to follow your warning, then you should retain an attorney to send a follow-up letter and possibly file suit on your behalf.
In the interim, you may wish to think what actions you may have taken which would give the owner this impression or is it being done simply to cause a problem for you. Have you given him/her any reason to believe that there is truth in the accusations?
