Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I allowed my daughters friend to stay over and they went to another friends house the girl told me she had permission from her mother to go, so I let them the kids ended up drinking and there were boys there and some pictures were taken of the girl doing stuff with a boy. Now the mother is telling people she is going to sue me. Can she do this?

She can. Not much of a claim, though. She would be dragged into it as well. You, perhaps, should not have let them leave, perhaps should have contacted other mother to see if it was OK rather than take the word of a child that it was, but she is the one that raised her child and conjtributes to why the girl was doing whatever she was doing. Not a case that a jury would like to hear. A judge would like it even less.
