If the gate is open on my property, does animal control have the right to be in my yard chasing my dog?

Why did they enter in the first place? Was your dog left alone and wandered outside of the yard? Animal control has the right to follow the dog back if they began the chase from outside your fenced yard.

If your dog has been running loose -- then they probably do.
