Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
armed robbery
i work overnight at cvs pharmacy and we have been robbed numerous times since march of 2005 which is when i started working. on dec 18 two men came into the store armed with guns and pointed it at me and told me to open the register. the man also hit me on the side of the head twice with the gun because it wouldn't open fast enough. it is only females that work the overnight shift and we have requested numerous times that the store put a security guard for us but they refuse. we have requested that we be changed to daytime and they have refused. we have also requested that they put men to work with us and they haven't done that either. i would like to know if i can sue the company for the distress that they have caused me.

No, but you can make a workmens comp. claim for medical bills and lost wages.
