Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

auto accident no personal injury

A car hit my car (side swiped) and left the scene without leaving any information. When the police found the other car they issued the driver two citiations. One for leaving a scene of an accident that had damage and one for driving under a suspended license. A third party owned the car and had no insurance. Is there anyway besides hiring an attorney to recover the repair cost.

Have you contacted the driver of the car? Do so and try to resolve the issue without involving attorneys. If someone is involved in an accident and does not have insurance -- if a judgment is eventually entered against him/her the state can take his driver's license away if the judgment is not paid.
