i serviced a gentleman's a/c one saturday, i drove the vehicle with him inside i'm not a auto shop i just did it as a favor for him, while driving the car with him the transmission went out, i asked when last he cked the fluid he said he had'nt i asked when last he serviced it he said he never had it serviced the fluid was burnt and he expect me to pay for it i told him no, so he's now taking me to small claims court, so i thought i would write for an opinion thank you.

The claim appears to be frivolous on its face. You may have a right to recover the costs and fees you incur defending the claim under section 57.105 of the Florida Statutes. Advise the court of all the facts and good luck.
