Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
automobiles vandalized
My daughter and her two friends cars were vandalized (entire cars were ''keyed''). A police report was filed and they know who the person is who is responsible for doing this. It has been more than a month and nothing further by the police department is being done. Is there any other aaction that can be taken to hold this person responsible for the damages?

Re: automobiles vandalized
(This is not legal advice)
Absolutely. You can file a civil lawsuit against the culprit for the damages (cost to repair the keyed vehicle) incurred by you as a result of his actions. While that route will not have any criminal impact, it will certainly likely give you some satisfaction that he has been forced to pay for his actions monetarily.

You may file a claim against them in small claims court
