Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

can my ex boyfriend take my truck. the truck is in his name, he pays the insurance( which I am on), and it is registered in his name, he is also the only one on the title. he gave me the truck 6 years ago and it is paid off. we have 2 kids together and it is my sole transportation. we wer together for 7 years

Sounds like he owns the truck. If so, it is his to take. If you claim he gave it to you, then you may need to prove that to get the car back, but the obvious question will be why is it in his name and why does he pay for the insurance, etecetera?

It is in his name, so he owns the truck and it does not sound like you have a claim to it.
