Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Car

I bought a car in my friends name as my license was suspended. I moved to NY and left the car in his care. I recieved a call from another friend that my car was totalled. I called the Marion County Sheriff and the Ocala Police and both had no record of that car being in an accident. It was an expensive car and I now have no transportation. I am a college student so money is very tight. Is there a lawyer whose services I can hire? If not can I take care of this matter by mail?

Since he had title, only he can make a damage claim. You will need to be able to prove your equitable claim as aginst your friend.
