Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Car Dealersip Problems
I recently bought a car here in Fl but i live permanently in NJ. When I bought this car I was told it would be no problem getting NJ plates and registration, that it is done all the time. I have NJ Insurance. Now they are telling me they cant do it and I am on my own. I called NJ DMV and they said the dealer should do it and they are in the wrong. I told the manager this and gave them the correct contact person to help them, but they did nothing. I need help I dont know what to do? Thank you for your time.

These types of things vary from state to state. You'll need to talk with both states' DMVs and sort it out.

Unfortunately this does not sound like a Florida problem. You may need to consult with a New Jersey attorney or the Department of Motor Vehicles (or its New Jersey equivalent) to resolve this issue.
