Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

car loan responsibility

I am ''renting'' my ex boyfriend's car from him. The car loan, registration and insurance is in his name. We have a verbal agreement that I make the payments (on time) and he won't take the car. Does he have a right to change his mind and take it if we have a verbal agreement??

Re: car loan responsibility

No -- but it does depend on the terms of your verbal agreement and your ability to prove what your verbal agreement is. He may have a different recollection of the agreement than you.
