Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Car Title

I am co-owner of a vehicle and after an assault on me my

boyfriend took my car from my property. Is there any way I

can get the car back or do I have any rights to payment

for the car and money I invested in it. He has told me and

witnesses that it was a gift and he will not give it back.

My name is on the title as co-owner. Registration and

insurance are in my name.

Contact DMV and your insurance company. You will

probably have to seek a legal resolution to this

since this is a civil dispute.
