Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Car Title
I sold a car in Florida and did not go to the tag agency to have the purchaser sign it into thier name and it is still in my name a year later and has been impounded twice. I am going to get a new title today and surrender the vehicle to the impound lot. What recourse does purchaser have against me?? I do not want to do harm but want them to title the vehicle in thier name

Why don't you sign the title over to the purchaser. You have title, buit you do not own the car, so you cannot transfer the title to someone else.
