In a claim against an insurance company how long does it take to get a court date in Florida after a court date is requested?

You did not say what court the claim is filed in. You also did not say what kind of court date you requested (hearing on a motion? trial?). Without that information, it's impossible for anyone to even guess. If you have an attorney, ask him or her.

It depends on the court (county or circuit) and depends on the circuit (what county). If circuit -- 6 - 8 months is not unusual.
