Collecting a Loan

I loaned a real estate agent $5000.00 prior to a closing on my house. The closing fell thru and I was never paid back. The agent dissolved her business and now resides in Fl. How can I get my money ?

you have several choices, depending upon the nature of your transaction. If the money was stolen, call the police. If it was a loan, get your proofs together as you will need them for court. You then must file suit against her in Florida. You should also file a complaint against her the State since she is a licensed realtor. You should also file a complaint against her broker (the company she worked for)

You can sue her in Florida in small claims court if under $5,000. Where in Florida does he reside. I might be able to help out.
