Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
collections attorney
In the near future, I will be going to court for a pre-trial and try to settle out of court for breach of contract. I have recently found more evidence that the person I'm taking to court has habitually lied to me. I now know I do not want to settle the agreement out of court, I do not trust him. I want to pursue him in court. I am told I need a collections attorney in order to collect my judgement. I live in Orlando, FL. What is the rate the collections attorney will charge? I'm assuming it varies. Also, whom ever reads the question, would you be able to refer me to someone?
Thank you so much.

Re: collections attorney
If you reach a settlement requiring all money to be paid at signing of the settlement, then you don't need a collections attorney, but you might still need a good attorney to get you that settlement. Courts and everyone else likes settlements that safe everyone time. Collection fees vary depending on several factors; so you can google it for your area and negotiate with them if it comes to that.
