My boyfriend is going to turn 18 soon and i would be turing 17 two months later. Could he get in trouble with the law even if I'm so close on being 18?

Yes, he can. For a lot of different reasons having nothing to do with the law, you should wait till you are a bit older before consumating your relationship with boyfriend.
