Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Daughter's Friend's Parent Harassing us!
My 10yr old's friend's mother has called us 4 different times in the past 24 hours, giving my husband & I a laundry list of things my daughter did wrong. Ranges from believable to outrageous. We let her vent, & really had nothing to say short of ''Thanks for letting us know. We'll keep our daughter away from yours.'' The 4th phone call lasted 30 seconds, & included an obscenity laced Jerry-Springer style threat to assualt me or my daughter. She then called my daughter's school, & told them I was threatening HER (among other untrue things). This woman lives across the street, & now every person who comes to my house gets yelled at with obscenities. Police say until something happens, there is nothing they can do. Everyone at school is teasing my daughter, & I've lost credibility with the school as well. What are my options? Where can I find an attorney willing to draft a letter or somthing?

If things escalate call your local criminal court or States Attorney Office. They may have a neighborhood dispute system.
