debt

I have someone that owes me over $12,000. I have all the paperwork, ie. Promisarry Note, emails, paper trail. He made his last payment 8/19/04. Can I still try and collect?

Yes -- but hurry up. The statute of limitations for the breach of a written contract is 5 years.
