Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

discovery

I have a lawsuit for non payment of child support. I have a court order for the X to deliver discovery documents. What do I file when he does not deliver documents?

X has delivered Federal Tax Returns for the last five years. Most are not signed or dated and I have Social Security Admin. document that show he has not paid Social Security tax for five years. His sister told my he has not file Federal Tax Returns for five years. How do I get from the Federal Goverment written proof he has not filed taxes and has he purgered himself?

Re: discovery

file a motion to compel when the time to respond has passed (usually 30 days, plus 5 for mailing). As for the tax returns, file a request to produce. If he doesn't then move to compel production. If he says he doesn't keep them, them move to require him to sign a waiver that can be sent to the government to obtain the tax returns.
