Disputes between an individual & a private company

An individual buys a product from a company to be used in his own company but they have a dispute about the product. Will it be better for the individual to pursue ligigation or employ an alternative dispute resolution mechanisms? Which choice would be the most appropriate in this case?

There is no way to give you a definitive answer. Litigation is generally more expensive but the result may be better and you can always appeal if you have sufficient legal grounds. ADR is generally less costly and you cannot appeal so you get stuck with whatever decision the arbitrator makes. There is no set answer. ADR is faster and usually less expensive. There is no appeal from the arbitator's decision.
