Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

If someone fails to repay a personal loan,what type of suit would it be and which type of lawyer would I need. The amount of the loan was 23,000. I live in Ga but the person who borrowed the loan lives in Palm Coast Fla.

It would be a general civil litigation. You would need a civil litigator. if the amount currently due is in excess of $15,000 it would be filed in Circuit Court.

You need a collections lawyer. If the loan transaction occurred in Georgia, you need to consult a local attorney. If the loan transaction occurred in Florida, you need to consult with a collections lawyer in the Palm Coast area.
