Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

This is with regards to a final court ruling in which the losing defendant must perform an act within 30 days in order to satisfy the judgement.

If this defendant files a motion for and is denied a new trial, does the deadline for satisfying this judgement remain the same per the original judgement?

Or is the deadline automatically extended to reflect the date in which the motion for a new trial was denied: 30 days from the date the motion was denied?

Or must this defendant file a successful motion for a stay with the original court prior to the deadline in order to extend the original deadline that is separate from all other proceedings?

Without seeing the order, it is hard to say with certainty, but ususally a motion for new trial stays the order until that motion is disposed of.
