Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Where can I find a really good settlement agreement form to settle with a person that has been storing their boat on my property?

This would also include wording to release me from any damage to the stored property.

You can go to NOLO.com and look for a free sample; their books are also available at most major bookstores. However, my advice to you is to hire an attorney to draft a simple settlement agreement for you. Usually the other side (boat owner) will have some changes to the settlement you propose and it would be better to have an attorney review the changes as well as the final version prior to signing.

It is worth paying a little up front to avoid a legal headache in the future!

If you would like to contact me at (305) 479-9520 or [email protected], I would be happy to listen to the facts and quote you a specific flat rate fee to draft the settlement agreement for you.
