Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I'm in Florida in the 11 circuit to be exact I'm suing a car dealership I filed a summons and now I've just recieved a default judgment from the clerk I have no idea what to do next I know the hard part is done. I went to the clerk of court to ask for a form for final hearing and they gave me the judges number but he's on vacation until January 4, 2010 I would like to know what do I need to file next.

A default judgment means the defendant failed to answer the complaint timely. You now must set a final hearing with the judge and prove up your damages. Call the judge's office to set a final hearing date. Depending on what you need to prove, request the time needed. Send out a notice of the final hearing to the defendant.
