Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
I own a Florida registered project management contracting company (Licensed as general 'services') where I have been invoicing for tree trimming/removal services after the hurricane. I am now getting insurance for performing the service but I am not a landscape company per se. I have been subcontracting some companies to do some of the physical work especially where heavy equipment is needed. Those companies are individually insured as well which can help me but what else can I do to strengthen my liability shelter? And what should I be careful of doing that I may not be thinking of?
Thank you

Well you need to establish an entity, such as a limited liability company or corporation that will shield liability to your personal assets. See an attorney to get that paperwork started and so you know how to comply with state law once establishing that entity. Hope this helps.
