Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I have a friend who was arrested for Battery(d.v) There is no statement written out expect the one from the officer ,no one pressed charges, they other party will not coropperate with the the other side to put this person in jail . My friend has battery in the pass but it has been a long time since the last one. so what is the worst that can happen?

The worst that can happen is that the state will press charges, and the batterer may go to jail. If you want a criminal law opinion, you should ask a criminal law attorney (hint- in the "criminal law" catagory of LawGuru).
