Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
I have an old friend that I used to be friends with me. We are no longer friends because she spreads nasty roomers about me. She tells everyone I am gay. I have been with the opposite sex most of my life and consistantly on dating sites for straight people. I can suppona everyone of my boyfriends to prove I am straight. This affects other friendships I have. I really do not want to sue her but will pay a lawyer to at the very least write a letter of warning not to spread roomers. I only want to send the lawyer if I truly can sue her in court if I have to.

You can sue her, but you will have to prove either slander per se, or show damages. Usually a letter from an attorney makes trouble-makers, like your friend, straighten up.
