Does a bouncer in a night club have legal right to physically injure a person while forcing removal from the property under any circumstances? And if so, what if there was no resistance other than verbal by the person asked to leave?

Depends on the facts and what happened. From your description, the bouncer cannot hurt someone that is not resisting. His story will be quite different, though.
