Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Can my Ex Girlfriend take me to small claims court for Gifts (Bedroom set and plates) they purchased for me while we were together. I know she has the reciepts but the items were given to me as a gift. How can this be proven in court? Would a Judge take such a petty case? Please help!!

This is the stuff of small claims court. She will take her receipts and you will testify that they were gifts. (she bought you plates?). The judge will decide whose story makes the most sense.
