what can happen to a defendent who does not accept service of a small claims judgement?

I think you may be confusing the judgment with the summons. The judgment lets you know that which side won and who owes what to whom.

Evading service is really quite futile. The lawsuit doesn't stop because they can't pin-down a defendant.
