Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
harrasment at work
I have a consulting positon with a medical company for 6 years. A new employee of 5 months has written letters of a fraudulant and slanderous nature regarding me and has sent them to the corporate office. What rights do I have? I believe she is trying to get me fired. These letters are lies and misconceptions. Can I sue her?

Re: harrasment at work
Anyone can sue but the question is: Can you win?
What you call lies and misconceptions may very well be fair comment or opinion in discharge of her duties. It requires evaluation by and objective and unemotional attorney to advise you of your rights. There are other things you should consider short of a lawsuit as a suit could place you in a lose-lose situation and burn your bridges with the company. Carefull evaluation of your reaction is needed.
