Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Hi..I am being sued for $2500.I am single mother with no job.I get $300 monthly for child support.My question is if this person wins the case how will they collect?I don't own a home .When i get a job do they garnish wages?Can they freeze my bank account? Thank you for your time.

If the person wins the judgment against you, they will have to move the court to enforce judgment. If you can agree in a mediation to a nominal payment per month, the other party will settle for that. If you fail to pay anything, the creditor will go back to court and obtain a lien against your assets, including garnishment of your wages.
