I have a judgment of $19,580, and my attorney won't do anything to get the money, so, how do I go about getting the money myself?

You have to determine if the defendant has any assets. Your attorney likely has made some assessment of that on his own. You can do an asset search, cost is around $1800, if you get any bank account or stock account hits. First thing to do is determine what costs are reasonable to spend in trying to get the $19K. sometimes it can cost you much more than it is worth. you can check online for automobiles owned by the person or entity and boats. you can also check on property in the county where the entity is located.

Is the creditor employed? Does he have assets. Obtaining the judgment is the easy part.
