Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
leased equipment
If a person leases equipment, and then sells the equipment but stays current with the lease and then ''buys the equipment'' at the lease's end - is this legal?

Re: leased equipment
I don't see how you can sell what you don't own. But if this was a lease to own lease then look to the language of the contract to see if selling the property before the end of the lease is prohibited.

Re: leased equipment
sure -- no problem, unless prohibited by the original lease agreement.
