Legal fees

If someone says they will pay me all my expenses for a trip made out of state on their behave and I got a traffic citation while on that trip and while seaching for her ( she got separtated from the group ) is she obligated to pay for the citation/legal fees too?

No. If you received a traffic citation because you violated traffic laws, you are responsible for the ticket. You can either pay the fine or you can request a trial (appeal the ticket) and argue your defense in court. In court you will have an opportunity to change your plea to "No Contest" and request that the court withhold adjudication based on mitigating circumstances (e.g., good driving record). Generally, if you are deemed worthy, the court will withhold adjudication and make you pay only the court costs, which means you get no points on your license and your insurance premiums do not get raised. If the officer who gave you the ticket does not show up to the hearing, you can request that the case be dismissed for lack of prosecution and the case should be dismissed by the court. Good luck.
