Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I have a legal stipulation through the court. The man who ordered the stipulation has passed away. My checks are being returned. I wrote a letter to the judge and she said she can not offer legal advice. What do I do or how can I close this case?

Your situation depends on the nature of the stipulation, and the content of specific documents. The Judge is not permitted to give litigants legal advice. You need to bring your documents to a lawyer to review, and they will be able to explain your rights.

Find out if an estate has been set up and contact the personal representative of the estate. Otherwise, deposit the money in the court depository. Check with the clerk of court for this.
