living together home involved breaking up

My boy friend and I have been together for 9 yrs. We purchased a home together. I am not on the home but have paid half of everything for 7 years plus repairs. He is seeing someone else and I want to leave. I want what i put into the house. He took out a home equtiy to purchase land for our retirement. That is free and clear as well as his car. I am asking for $40,000.00 even thought he took out $60,000.00 This was going to be my retirement with him i am 62 years old with little retirement I trusted to take care of me. Now i do not know what to do.

unfortunately you do not get to collect after you have been paying rent for 7 years. Girlfriends do not get to dip into their boyfriends retirement after they get mad at them.
