Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

loose dogs

3 loose dogs attacked my 12 yr old mix terrier.. they did not bite him but he went into shock and died. These dogs have been loose many times and this time my family has paid the price .. we are all heart broken and the owner of the 3 dogs have not even apoligized.

I filed a police report and they said that nothing will really be done.

Do I have reason to go after the dog owners legally?

The law is not good for you here to collect much of anyting. Dogs are just personal property, so they would only be liable for the value of the dog -- not your suffering caused by the loss.
