Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
I had a lot of trouble with a merchant (delays, getting wrong or defective merchandise...) and, in the end, had to file a dispute with my credit card company because the merchant would not refund my money. I got my money back from the credit card company and no longer have to deal with the merchant. However, I still have big boxes of defective or wrong merchandise in my house and no one seems to be bothering to pick it up. The total cost of all the merchandise is close to $5000, and it has been almost 3 months since I got my money back. For how long do I have to keep the stuff in my house and wait for them to pick it up? I am tired of all those boxes in my house.

I would send a certified letter to the merchant advising them that they have 30 days to pick up the refused merchandise if not you will dispose of it. If they don't respond, I think you could either throw it out or sell it.
