Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Mold has been discovered behind the walls in our condo from a drywall nail that had penetrated a drain line that serves multiple units. This leak has been undetected for years, most likely from the construction of the building in 1984. It has only become noticed recently when an upstairs leak had been discovered, and the drywall finally caved in.
The Association will not help, saying that we are responsible. What is their obligation? Thank you.
