Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
I moved to Florida, my aunt said the lady she rents a unit from said that I could share my aunt's. I am paid up in full and have a recipt to prove so. But becuase my aunt owes her a lot of money. No one told me this. She says that I cannot touch my stuff and that I had better continue to pay her her for each month until my aunt pays her. I this contract is between her and my aunt, I am no-where on the contract. I feel as if she is cheating me and extorting money from me. I am a cancer patient and I need my paperwork, but she does not care. Can she legally do this?

Is this a residential unit or a storage unit?? And is the unit in FL or in the state you moved from? Please clarify, and we will try to answer.
