Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Neglectful HOA

We have complained to our HOA numerous times over the years about the trash that collects in the retention pond next to our property. They state they will look into it, sometimes clean it up (usually after several months and numerous reminders), promise that the ponds are on a regular schedule for cleaning, and then not do anything more until it becomes unsightly and we complain again. We send the HOA digital pictures to show them proof. The last few complaints have been totally ignored and the pond is now covered in garbage around the perimeter. What can we do to force the HOA to remedy this?

Re: Neglectful HOA

WHat do your association documents say about whose responsibility it is to take care of this issue? If it says the HOA, you might have a legal claim against your HOA. Call me if you wish to discuss further.
