Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

neighbor conflict

I had an incident with my neighbor, where we were arguing. Anyway I told her to mind her businness. She came over into my garage and asked me to repeat what I said . So of course I did very loudly. She pushed me then started slapping at me. As I was blocking her hands I caught one of her fingers wrong and it broke. I called 911 to report it... the police came out, but my neighbor didn't want to file a report. I let the officers who came out to talk me out of filing a report. We agreed it would be dropped. she went a could weeks later and filed a report for a civil dispute, then an order of protection against me. I went to the injunction then requested a hearing...she didn't show up for the hearing...or for the civil dispute mediation. Now 3 months later. I have an officer show up to file a report for the incident, since one was never filed. I have 5 days to file a report w/ the state attorney's office. We had no witnesses so it is my word against hers. The lady does not work nor have insurance and I believe this is just a ploy to get government money or something out of me. Any advice on handling this? Thanks!
