Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Two neighbors share a property line. PersonA is on her property but her dog has crossed the line just smelling the grass etc. Person B sprays PersonA with areosol bug spray in the face, screeming and yelling at her. Can Person B be charged with asault?

I do not know if the criminal system will do that, but it does meet civil battery. I am not suggesting a lawyer will take the case, because there are many factors to be considered besides the act, such as damages, costs, etc.
