Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

non payment of loan to friend($2000.00)

Two years ago lent $2000 to a friend,with the understanding she would pay me back from the proceeds of a large settlememt she was to recieve. since then she has been avoiding me and won't return my phone calls. What if any legal recourse do I have. Small claims?
