Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Options prior to losing a civil litigation appeal

My case is currently at the 2nd District Court of Appeals in Tampa FL (2dca.org) case 02-04-3680. Oral argument is set for 16 Aug 05. I lost the 1st appeal. My case is regarding a lemon law case against Isuzu. I purchased a brand new 02 Isuzu in 02 and clearly qualified for the lemon law. My vehicle was in the shop and part replaced at least 3 times in a year's period. I tried everything prior to obtaining an attorney. We went to court in Hillsborough Cty, Tampa, FL and lost the case against Isuzu. The judge ordered I pay Isuzu attorney fees of $30k. I'm still stuck with the lemon. I need some advice as of what my options are IF, I lose this case in the 2nd District Court of Appeals. Thanks!

Re: Options prior to losing a civil litigation appeal

The thing about the court system is that they are a lot like Vagas in that they are open to the public. Anyone, including non-attorneys are allowed to play, but if you do, be prepared to lose your money. I highly recommend that you consult an attorney immediately as there may be some time limitations regarding your appeal, but it may be unlikely that there is anything that they can do about it now. It sounds like you already had your day in court. In either event, consult an attorney in your Tampa area as soon as possible. Good luck, because you are going to need it.
