Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I paid $65,000.00 of my soon to be X-husband school loans a few months prior to our wedding with my low rate credit cards. Now that we are divorcing 3 years later, he is trying to get out of picking up the remaining $35,000. that is still left on my credit cards, leaving me stuck with a tremendous amount of debt and a house and car payment and everything else. My question is, can I sue him for the remaining debt?
