I rent a room in my home to a young man who is NOT related to me at all; he does not drive and does not own a car.

While he was a passenger in a truck on his way to work, they were hit from behind - no fault. He is hurt. Mercury Insurance (ins of driver of the vehicle he was in)now is stating that by FL state law my insurance (no relation, not in the accident!)is responsible. Can this unfairness be allowed by the law?
